Assignment Description: We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our customers team in Lund! For this assignment you need to be self-driven and able to take leadership of tasks and be passionate about customer needs. You will also in this role drive and coordinate engineers in a multi-site environment. Requirements: • Min +8 years’ experience. • Good experience with 3D CAD design, preferably Catia, Creo and NX for consumer products. • Good experience with plastic parts design and injection molding. • Experience in conceptual work including ID and mechanical architecture for electronic consumer products. • Good experience to coordinate design work in a distributed team of CAD designers and leading external development partner. • Close collaboration with engineers and suppliers in multiple locations and coordinate with other functions HW, RF, PMs and management. • Lead design reviews, detecting weaknesses and providing solutions. • Good experience with IPx (water, dust protection) requirements. • Experience with preparing technical documentation for testing, manufacturing and certification. • Experienced with design for manufacturing/ assembly, reliability and FMEA. • Good knowledge in mechanical testing and validation tools and processes. • Good experience with tolerance calculations. • Great team player with a curiosity to learn new things and openly sharing knowledge. • Flexible to changing conditions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
