Description
This role will be required to lead design to develop, test, complete and launch new products and extensions to existing product lines; Works together with other CPC project teams on their materials applications / sourcing efforts (from R&D side). Work with whole mechanical team to Instruct and train young engineers to improve team's capability in mechanical area and product knowledge, lead and participate in requirements analysis, design review and other team development processes. Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and materials and uses computer software tools to design and analyze product integrity in order to facilitate rapid deployment." 1. Lead the review of product requirements specification based on input from marketing and customers; 2. Generate (when necessary) the product requirements specification from the Voice of Customer (VOC) input; 3. Following the product spec, design, development new and innovative products; 4. Lead testing of new products in accordance with standards and customer needs, lead technical documentation completely; 5. Launch new product line extensions following a stage-gate process (i.e., PROLaunch) ; 6. Lead to investigate and analyze new materials and their appropriate use within our product line 7. Extensive materials knowledge with emphasis on plastic injection/molding and metal stamping; 8. Review and conduct computer-based FEA & FMEA analysis on new products to ensure their integrity and use the results to modify designs; 9. Tech lead team to support industrial team to set up production line; 10. Tech lead and participate in existing product customer complaint solving; 14. Tech lead and participate in new product and technology development trend thinking and review; 13. Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with all other team; 15. 1.Bachelor's Degree and above in Mechanical Engineering, prefer master. 2.10 or more years experience in new product development in electromechanical system low voltage field, MCCB prefered; 3.Rich experience in components design and material selection, like metal, nonferrous fields; 4.Senior expert in low voltage component product, special MCCB product design and development; 5.Proven history of managing new product development programs; 6.Proven ability to tech lead a team to complete projects on time and on budget; 7.Needs to have a good understanding of LV markets, especial on data center and renewable energy; 8.Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing customer market environment; 9.Expert in the use of Pro-E, AutoCAD or other software design tools; 10.Solid understanding of LV application, ability to tech lead to solve key customer complaints; 11.Expert in metal and molded plastic designs, rich knowledge material property and applicaton; 12.Ability to utilize specialized techniques for development to launch process improvements including development stage gate processes pre/pro-launch and DFSS tools; 13.Familiar with electrical and dynanic simulation, ability to provide tech guidance and input; 14.Familiarity with environmental requirements and related qualification testing; 15.Good interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to written and oral communication; 16.Ability to operate with minimal supervision;
