Description
The Lead Projects Manager is responsible for the use of modern project management tools and techniques to execute projects related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power system modifications. The Projects Manager will use his/her knowledge of industrial and utility power distribution equipment, power system engineering, substation design, & construction safety to deliver projects with a high degree of professionalism and safety. The Lead Projects Manager will have full responsibility of project and authority to complete his/her assigned project from inception to scope development, planning, execution, management of people and resources. He or she will have the discipline to create clear and achievable cost, quality, and schedule objectives and follow these objectives through to successful completion. The Lead Projects Manager will also provide technical leadership to the district sales & service teams. Individual must be capable of self-managing and directing a team on awarded projects for electrical equipment, including working knowledge of mechanical designs around rotating equipment and generators in power generation facilities around the country. Candidate must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a track record of successful project execution experience to deliver technical solution and proposals to customers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with ability to be flexible to adjust to changing project conditions. A. Supports proposal process with mechanical designs, solutions and written scopes of work. B. F. Plans, establishes, maintains, and regularly updates a project schedule on assigned projects H. Monitors, reports, and controls costs on assigned projects within estimated project margin I. J. Prepares, distributes, and follows through with project safety plan J. Responsible for financial performance of project including profitability, project revenue, and cash flow - Bachelors Degree in Engineering with eight (8) years project management experience OR Associates Degree in Engineering with ten (10) years project management experience - Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future - Experience with Microsoft Project or Project Scheduling software - Working knowledge of NERC/FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA - PMP Certified Position Criteria: - Periodically submit to background/drug screens as required by customers for on-site work - Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera Scheduling software - Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc. The application window for this position is anticipated to close on 11/6/25 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
