QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulers
  • Experience reading drawings and blueprints reading
  • Experience performing quality inspections
  • Ability to obtain U.S. government issued Secret security clearance after start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

  • CMM operations experience, PC DMIS preferred
  • Ability to conduct audits per a defined Quality Management System
  • Experience communicating with engineering teams, facilitators, and managers
  • Experience conducting area and process audits
  • Proficient knowledge of Factory Operating Systems (SAP/MRP, CMES, IMRO, VM)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Operate and manage Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precise measurements of products.
  • Act as the point of contact for external software and machine maintenance requirements and calibrations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and utilize resources daily to meet company and customer commitments.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to inspect and verify product quality.
  • Inspect a variety of hardware for final acceptance, ensuring compliance with drawings and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and log results, including identifying non-conforming parts.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments to address issues, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform incidental duties as assigned.
