Overview Lead Medical Assistant - Naperville - Endocrinology Position Highlights: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Hours: Monday-Friday; hours vary Location: 1020 E Ogden Avenue Suite 100 Naperville, Illinois 60563 Travel: As needed. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Site Physician(s) and Practice Manager, serves as a primary assistant to physicians and nurses. Practices high quality medical care in performing a variety of patient care activities such as preparation for appointments, minor exams and procedures, laboratory and maintenance controls, patient documentation, and various office duties. Responsible for all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description. Takes inventory and performs ordering of supplies. Assists with coordinating staff meetings. Supervises work performed by department and may delegate work to staff members. Counsels and coaches the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution. Assists with staff development, new employee orientation, and training. Monitors and ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures. May be responsible for performance evaluations as required by Human Resources. Responsible for managing the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION and / or CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Certified or Registered preferred but not necessary CPR Certification required EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferably in the medical field Experienced in staff roles with a history of good performance The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.30-24.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
