Description

Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures in the laboratory. Monitors the day-to-day technical operation of one or more sections of the clinical laboratory. Works closely with the laboratory manager, Director of Laboratory Services, and Medical Director to provide effective oversight of the section. Monitors section quality control and preventive maintenance programs to ensure test accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Performs all approved laboratory procedures in assigned licensure specialties, as required to meet workload demands. Education Associate's Degree Medical Technology Or Associate's Degree Biology Or Associate's Degree Chemistry License/Registration Clinical Lab Technologist - Issued by Florida or Compact State Work Experience and Additional Information Competency in all (5) specialties. Four (4) years of Laboratory experience preferably in a supervisory capacity.
