JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Lead Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician is responsible for overseeing, mentoring, and leading a team of MHE Technicians. This role involves assigning work, assessing repair needs, and reviewing completed work to ensure the highest standards of repair, safety, and operational efficiency for the electric and propane-powered Material Handling Equipment fleet, including Crown and Raymond forklifts and electric pallet jacks, within a dynamic warehouse environment. The Lead MHE Technician plays a pivotal role in organizing workload, delegating tasks, and ensuring the continuous availability of MHE for business operations.
