We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician. Our Mitigation Technicians work hard in often harsh conditions involving, smoke, water, mold, sewage, etc., to help people and properties recover from damage due to disasters. We are looking for self-motivated, team players who genuinely care about their workmanship. We are always busy and have steady work all year long. Lead Mitigation Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing the following mitigation team duties to ensure each job runs smoothly and efficiently: Water Damage-extraction, drying, minor demolition & pack out Mold Remediation Fire Damage-board up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning & pack out Trash removal Restoration-contents manipulation, cleaning, small punch out tasks Taking moisture readings at each job to ensure accurate completion Ensuring proper paperwork and photos are complete Material supply and delivery On call rotation for new emergency calls Other duties as assigned Requirements High School diploma (or equivalent) or higher preferred. 2 year of water mitigation experience preferred. Prior work experience with a disaster restoration company preferred. Water Mitigation Certification (WRT and/orASD) preferred. Must have a driver’s license with a clean MVR Must be able pass a background check and drug screen. Standard schedule is 40 hours or more a week, with possible overtime. This is a 24/7 company with an on-call requirement every other week. **Please do not apply if you cannot meet this requirement. ** Must be self-motivated; works well individually. Must be a team player; works well with team. Must have excellent customer service skills Must be able to lift a minimum 70lbs without assistance.
Responsibilities
Oversee mitigation teams in handling water, mold, and fire damage restoration tasks to ensure efficient job completion. Responsible for taking moisture readings, managing paperwork, and participating in an on-call emergency rotation.
