Bloom is Southfield’s newest upscale lounge concept by South Ten Hospitality, blending refined design, bold cocktails, and sexy late-night energy. Our venue offers a high-vibe lounge experience and will soon debut an exclusive speakeasy—two distinct environments under one roof.
Our goal is clear: develop an award-winning beverage program that delivers high-volume efficiency in the lounge and curated, craft-forward cocktails in the speakeasy.
We’re looking for a Lead Mixologist & Program Curator who can lead with creativity, precision, and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of craft cocktail and bar leadership experience in upscale or high-volume venues.
  • ServSafe & TIPS certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days).
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to design and execute drinks for both high-speed and curated service models.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, recipe costing, and operational controls.
  • Passion for developing an award-winning bar program.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll oversee the entire bar program at Bloom, designing and refining two distinct beverage experiences:

  • Lounge: Fast, efficient, consistent service during high-volume nights.
  • Speakeasy: Elevated, scent-forward, personalized cocktail experiences.

This role also includes light management duties on slower days, ensuring the venue is ready for service, supporting staff scheduling, and assisting with overall FOH operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain cocktail menus for both the lounge and the upcoming speakeasy.
  • Create original recipes that reflect Bloom’s floral, moody, and refined brand identity.
  • Oversee bar operations including inventory management, ordering, prep systems, costing, and compliance.
  • Lead bar training programs to ensure bartenders and barbacks deliver both speed and artistry.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation standards across both concepts.
  • Perform light management duties on slower days, including operational support and coordination with FOH leadership.
  • Collaborate with ownership and marketing on seasonal rollouts, liquor partnerships, and activations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
