Partner with the best The Lead MRP Planner is responsible for managing material orders and material allocations effectively to ensure the Master Production Schedule is met. They shall oversee the fulfilment of all material flow -including sub-assembly and external vendors -identify any potential risks and mitigate any production downtime. This role has the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals As Lead MRP Planner, you will be responsible for: Essential Responsibilities: Managing the ERP system daily, to ensure that material quantities are available to execute the project as per Bill of Materials (BOM). This includes converting Oracle ASCP suggested requirements into purchase requisitions and manufacturing orders. Acting as an interface between the project teams and Yard. Being responsible for data quality on the ERP system. Both managing the ASCP exceptions, coordinating the resolution processes and maintaining the ASCP dates through regular liaison with Production Control and Master Scheduler. Main Accountabilities: Ensuring ERP dates are always aligned with the MPS. Ensuring both material order requisition (Buy) and manufacturing orders creation (Make) are executed on time to support the MPS and Project OTD. Supporting materials availability at the very short term so no time is lost in manufacturing due to material availability. Ensuring all manufacturing order are available and releasing with the right material and quantity as per BOM in the system. Acting as a focal point and monitoring assigned areas to ensure hardware and subassemblies delivery dates meet production and customer needs. Be the main interface between Sourcing, Manufacturing and project management for material availability to meet the MPS. Monitoring ERP exception messages weekly, actioning them when possible or alternatively fixing any data issues. Monitoring material supply and consumption for its planned commodities weekly, highlighting any foreseen issues - both insufficient or excessive amount of material to support the MPS. Managing the inventory level, according to target defined by manager of the materials under your responsibility. Assisting in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value. :iaising with engineering for reviewing of excess material vs requirement to create substitute and reduce inventory globally Reviewing of production plan and confirming resource with production and understand people resource and machine resource Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience Have 8-11 years of relevant experience Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management. Have Intermediate knowledge of ERP (ASCP) and MRP functionality Have experience in ERP Oracle is mandatory Have the ability to work with and influence stakeholders. Have strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
