About the Role The company is seeking a hands-on Lead .NET Engineer to architect, build, and scale innovative backend systems. Location Hybrid in Guadalajara, Jalisco What the Lead .NET Engineer Will Do - Lead the design and development of robust, scalable backend systems using .NET 6 or higher. - Drive technical architecture decisions and modernization of legacy platforms. - Champion innovation and AI integration, leveraging tools like GitHub Copilot and other GenAI tools to boost developer productivity and accelerate delivery. - Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver high-impact features. - Act as a technical mentor to engineers, promoting engineering best practices and code quality. - Own the full development lifecycle – from design to deployment and monitoring. - Enforce and evolve secure coding practices, especially for payment and financial systems. - Lead incident response and post-mortems, ensuring continuous improvement. - Contribute to the development and refinement of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Ensure SOC 2 and PCI compliance, including secure backend processes and governance. - Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance excellence. Required Skills & Experience - 8+ years of backend development experience with .NET 6 or higher. - Proven ability to lead engineering teams and technical projects. - Deep expertise in Azure Service Fabric, MS SQL Server, and Cosmos DB. - Strong understanding of payment systems and architecture, including Stripe integration and decoupled payment flows. - Proficiency in building microservices, REST APIs, and scalable architectures. - Strong background in API security, performance tuning, and compliance (SOC 2, PCI). - Hands-on experience in CI/CD automation and secure deployment practices. - Working knowledge of Angular or modern frontend frameworks for backend integration. - Experience leveraging AI tools for code generation, testing, and productivity optimization. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native architectures. - Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven product features is a plus. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps culture.
