Job Description YOUR ROLE AS A: Lead, Network Engineer WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION: Design, implement, and manage robust enterprise and cloud network infrastructure supporting business-critical operations across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Lead network engineering operations across LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking architectures, ensuring stability and performance. Architect and support multi-cloud networking environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Alibaba Cloud. Design and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions, including VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and Interconnect services. Develop and enforce network security policies, controls, and governance frameworks aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements. Lead network resilience and disaster recovery planning, including redundancy, failover, and multi-region architecture strategies. Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance across on-prem and cloud platforms, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to evaluate and implement new networking technologies and cloud solutions. Manage network service providers and cloud connectivity vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and operational excellence. Lead deployment and enhancement of Network Access Control (NAC) and Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and external vendors to ensure transparency, compliance, and technical alignment. Drive continuous improvement aligned with modern networking trends such as SASE, SD-WAN evolution, and multi-cloud interconnectivity. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior network engineers. Act as escalation point for complex network incidents and perform deep-root cause analysis (RCA). WHO YOU ARE: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 6–8 years of experience in network engineering with strong enterprise environment exposure. Strong expertise in: LAN / WAN / VPN / SD-WAN Routing and switching (enterprise-grade) Firewall and security architecture Load balancing and DNS architecture Proven experience in cloud networking across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud, including: VPC / VNet design and segmentation Transit architecture (hub-and-spoke, multi-account design) Hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect) Cloud routing and network security controls Strong understanding of network security frameworks, including: IDS/IPS Zero Trust architecture Network Access Control (NAC) Hands-on experience with enterprise networking vendors such as: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools such as: Wireshark, nmap, traceroute, telnet, curl, and cloud-native monitoring tools Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex hybrid network issues across cloud and on-prem environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Experience working in mission-critical, high-availability enterprise environments.
