UltraViolet Cyber is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer supporting a Zero Trust Architecture deployment for a large-scale network enterprise environment. This resource will be supporting a team of technical security engineering resources ensuring a successful implementation. These individuals will play a key role in designing, testing, implementing, optimizing the infrastructure to support this deployment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of total experience in offensive/defensive security, or systems engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting a zero trust architecture deployment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Cybersecurity related certification
  • US Citizen, must pass a government background investigation.
Responsibilities
  • Key resource in supporting an enterprise Zero Trust Architecture deployment.
  • Identifying risks across network infrastructure that would lead to the exposure of sensitive data, unauthorized access, or loss of availability and prioritizing remediation efforts to address gaps.
  • Influence security direction of network hardware, software, and infrastructure to protect the network integrity of critical systems.
  • Conceptualize and lead efforts towards building sustainable and scalable network layer security controls and tooling.
  • Mentor and evangelize security practices through cross functional work with engineering teams to ensure a successful ZTA deployment.
