OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Network Routing and Switching Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in routing and switching technologies, with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and network protocols. Additionally, experience with firewall devices such as Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Zscaler is essential. A basic understanding of wireless concepts is also required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 12+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on routing and switching.
Industry certifications such as Juniper,Cisco,HPE etc., or equivalent are highly desirable.
In-depth understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,MPLS,VXLAN and SNMP.
Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, as well as other networking equipment from leading vendors.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmen

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and network appliances.
Configure and optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP to ensure efficient traffic routing and network resilience.
Configure and troubleshoot Datacenter networks (Nexus Swicthes)
Implement and manage VLANs, spanning tree protocols (STP), and virtualization technologies to segment and optimize network traffic.
Perform network capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning to meet business requirements and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other teams to implement network security policies, access controls, and compliance requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and IT staff on network routing and switching technologies.
