Description
As the Lead OpenShift Engineer L2 Support, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations of OpenShift clusters, providing technical leadership for L2 support and collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient delivery. You will guide the resolution of escalated issues, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and promote best practices across the support team. What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed Manage and automate OpenShift clusters to support application deployment and scalability. Integrate applications and maintain CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers and DevOps teams. Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot escalated issues from L1 teams, and ensure high availability. Optimise cluster resources, perform upgrades and patching, and maintain configuration documentation. Implement security controls and conduct vulnerability remediation. Mentor L2 support engineers, coordinate with L3 for complex issues, and contribute to process improvement and automation. We'd Love to Hear From You If... Experience You have 4–6 years in platform engineering or DevOps. You have substantial OpenShift administration experience. Technical Expertise You are proficient in Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, CI/CD tools, Linux administration, and scripting (Bash, Python). You have experience with configuration management and monitoring. You have exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code and networking concepts. Ways of Working You provide clear guidance to support teams. You collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. You continuously enhance operational efficiency. You document thoroughly and communicate clearly under pressure. Assignment Details Contract Duration: 1 year (1 Jul 2026 – 30 Jun 2027) Shift: 16×5 business hours (10:00 AM – 1:00 AM PHT) with 24×7 on‑call coverage during weekends
