Description
As the Lead OpenShift Engineer L3 Support, you will be the highest technical escalation point for OpenShift issues, guiding the design and operation of container platforms and ensuring that clusters remain secure, scalable, and highly available. You will work closely with developers and operations teams, driving continuous improvement and mentoring other engineers. What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed Manage, configure, and automate OpenShift environments to support scalable application development and deployment. Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications within the platform and refine CI/CD pipelines. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability of the OpenShift platform. Optimise and scale OpenShift clusters to enhance performance and efficiency; design improvements and capacity plans. Lead incident response, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes; mentor L2 and L1 engineers. Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and stay current with emerging technologies in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and DevOps. Implement security measures to protect applications and infrastructure. We'd Love to Hear From You If... Experience You have at least five years in DevOps or platform engineering. You have expert‑level OpenShift administration experience. You have led support teams and guided technical escalations. Technical Expertise You have deep knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift internals, Kubernetes, container networking, and security. You are proficient with CI/CD tools and infrastructure‑as‑code (Ansible, Terraform). You have strong scripting skills (Bash, Python). You are experienced with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana). Ways of Working You excel at problem‑solving and mentoring. You collaborate effectively across teams. You drive continuous improvement and automation. You communicate clearly under pressure and document thoroughly. Assignment Details Contract Duration: 1 year (1 Jul 2026 – 30 Jun 2027) Shift: 16×5 business hours (10:00 AM – 1:00 AM PHT) with 24×7 on‑call coverage during weekends
