Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Responsible for daily production issue. * Production schedule adherence inventory management, and employee development. * Determining resources (capacity) needed to meet production plan. * Managing dispatching of work orders according to the build plan. * Drive for workmanship and quality improvements. * Responsible for producing product output. * Managing employee attrition and retention. * Ensuring compliance to ISO, Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines. * Motivate staff to achieve breakthrough performances. * Maintain highly disciplined workforce. * Meet the performance matrix - HPU, CT, DPPM, Line Item, Volume, Cross Training, WIP Accuracy and Attendance. * Take part or to be trained on company's initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing.Derive Continual Improvement. Education & Experience * Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management or related disciplines. * Minimum 5 years working experience in a high volume high mix production environment managing production with at least 3 years in supervisory position. Skills * Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools is preferred but not mandatory * Computer software knowledge etc : Microsoft Window. * Must have good communication skills. * Able to manage people and has good working attitude. * Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company. * Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage * Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
