Responsibilities

As a Lead Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to our customers
  • Providing on-site technical guidance and support for production operations, process engineering, commercial and operational queries
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing of chemical treatment programs to provide support to the production operations group
  • Preparing of technical reviews and proposals of new chemical solutions to share with our customers
  • Prospecting for new support applications and scope expansion to build the customer base in the area of responsibility
  • Organizing routine production chemical reviews and selection activities to verify changing customer needs
  • Being responsible for billing & collection, invoicing, including preparing and conducting on filing, data entry, and administrative support
  • Assisting with receipt and processing of orders, also facilitating resolution of inquiries and customer concerns related to the order and delivery process
  • Dealing with only limited product line(s) and/or handling special project(s) as assigned
  • Maintaining internal compliance and the highest HSE standards to ensure a safe working environmen

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Science or related fields
  • Demonstrate good experience (at least 5 years of experience) in Production Chemicals Application or Chemical Industrial Services
  • Have knowledge of process optimization and refinery production chemistry (desalting, overhead corrosion control, fouling control, etc.)
  • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions to a variety of service delivery fulfilment projects, often simultaneously
  • Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office
  • Have the ability to work outside during difficult seasonal weather conditions
  • Hold a full UK/International driving licens
