OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced overhead door technician to be a lead technician and work with an apprentice to complete installations, service calls, planned maintenance inspections and services. We provide a truck and power tools. The candidate will be responsible for their own hand tools. Health benefits are available. Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. The company truck is available to be taken home. A signing bonus is available for the right candidate. Customer service is of the utmost importance. Troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities are extremely important.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a lead technician or similar role
• Proficiency in all aspects of overhead doors, operators and other accessories
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
• Certification or training in relevant technical and safety areas is a plus

• Maintain a proper stock of parts in the work truck
• Maintain a clean work truck
• Service, diagnose, repair and replace parts on commercial and residential overhead doors
• Install new operators on residential and commercial overhead doors
• Install new commercial and residential overhead doors
• Measure openings and assess sites for new projects
• Maintain good relations with customers to ensure a positive customer experience
