Duties/Responsibilities: Support daily functions including, but not limited to: Refinish damaged bodies of vehicles and equipment using a variety of tools and techniques. Apply paint and coating using sprayers or brushes. Mix and match paints to meet specifications or restore vehicles to the original color. Stir and thin paint using spatulas or power mixing equipment. Work with painter’s assistants and shop team to complete tasks efficiently. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components as needed. Sand, fill, mask, and prep surfaces for painting application. Perform light mechanical repairs and panel replacements. Maintain a clean and safe workspace; clean tools, sprayers, and other equipment regularly. Assist with janitorial and yard maintenance tasks as needed. Work 9.5-hour shifts Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. Support other shop and production duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision Knowledge of hand tools, paint sprayers, and body repair equipment. General understanding of truck systems and build-up processes. Basic understanding of electrical systems and wire sizing (a plus). Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office) Working knowledge of company software and procedures Great attitude and ability to work with others Good communication skills, written and verbal Attention to detail and good organizational skills Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license (required to move company vehicles). Auto body/collision repair and/or industrial painting experience preferred. Forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain). Overhead crane operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
