Huckleberry Bakery is seeking a passionate, upbeat, lead baker & pastry cook to oversee daily production. We love what we do and appreciate a person with a positive attitude with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment. Seeking an efficient, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and time management skills that bakes from the heart.
The position offers the opportunity to work with the best organic and seasonal farmers’ market ingredients, baking various pastries, working with laminated and yeasted doughs, as well as making many pastry components. The lead ensures everything is made to our standard. They plan daily production, ensure catering orders are executed in a timely manner and create prep lists for the team. They act as a liaison between the bakery and the front of house, the kitchen team and upper level management. Collaborate with the pastry chef on menu items is encouraged.
FULL TIME. 4am-12:30pm. Hourly Rate PLUS TIPS and HEALTH INSURANCE after a short waiting period.
Candidates should have at least 2 years pastry or baking experience,
