SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Proven experience developing performance frameworks and outcome-based indicators.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced Power BI skills for building reports and visualisations.
  • Experience applying analytical and statistical techniques to support decision-making.
  • Understanding of data architecture, governance, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work with varied data sources, including survey and external datasets.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with financial data and reporting.
  • Experience collaborating with digital and technology teams to improve data systems.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Lead Performance Analyst you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver high-quality performance reporting for executive leaders, the MCA Board, and central government. You’ll play a key role in developing our outcomes framework for integrated settlement and using data to track progress toward long-term goals.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll use the latest tools and technologies to build efficient, insightful reporting systems and ensure data is at the core of our planning and performance.

  • Lead and develop a small team responsible for corporate performance reporting and analysis.
  • Deliver high-quality performance reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Guide the evolution of reporting tools and dashboards using Power BI and other technologies.
  • Support the development of long-term outcomes frameworks and indicators for integrated settlement.
  • Align performance reporting with corporate planning and financial reporting processes.
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance and quality assurance procedures.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to improve data flows, reporting alignment, and analytical capability.
  • Use diverse data sources to inform strategic decision-making and track progress toward goals.
  • Contribute to broader Insight Team initiatives in line with your expertise and development goals.
