Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM OR 8:30AM - 5:00PM EST Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – We provide specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Duties and Responsibilities: Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the Connecticut State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration. Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approach Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferred Must possess a Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License Order Entry experience required Minimal typing speed of 40WPM preferred Medical Records experience preferred Positive personality who is able to work well within a team Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy If you are hardworking, dedicated and looking for a change in your career, we may have an opportunity for you!
