Lead Pharmacy Tech Instructor - FT   About The Job  Fortis College in Mobile is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join its faculty.  If you possess a desire to help others succeed, this is an opportunity for you to positively impact the lives and careers of our students and graduates.    Fortis provides educational programs that deliver real-life career skills in high-demand occupations that lead to employment upon graduation and a lifetime of professional growth.    Job Description  We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Pharm Tech Program.  This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director.  The primary responsibility will be to teach Pharmacy Technician courses.  The typical teaching load is three courses each term, with two or three preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.      Requirements  * Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required * Certifications: * CPhT and/or * PTCB and/or * ExCPT * At least three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  * Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven  * Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required 
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to teach Pharmacy Technician courses and manage a typical load of three courses per term. Additionally, the role involves providing academic advising to students and assisting the Program Director with departmental tasks.
