Lead Pharmacy Technician Type of Work: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Shift Availability: Open availability required, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $23.75 Location: 814 E Main St, Stamford, CT 06902 Who You Are: As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting our dispensary operations. You’ll work closely with the Pharmacist and retail team to ensure accurate prescription processing, inventory management, and a seamless patient experience. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about cannabis, compliance, and customer care. What You'll Do: Assist patients with product questions and provide knowledgeable, compassionate service Educate patients on safe and responsible cannabis use Prepare and dispense cannabis products in compliance with state regulations Collaborate with the Pharmacist to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and HIPAA-compliant work environment Stay current on cannabis laws, product knowledge, and industry trends Support and guide team members while fostering a positive work culture Perform other duties as assigned to support dispensary operations What You'll Bring: Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing Minimum 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician; cannabis experience is a plus At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of medication, dosage measurement, pharmacy law, and medical terminology Excellent communication and customer service skills High attention to detail and reliability High school diploma or GED required Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Greenhouse or cannabis software experience is a plus Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
