MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)

• Full-time (~40 hours per week)

• Preference given to applicants with the following backgrounds:

• OCS / Orthopedic Clinical Specialist or equivalent continuing education

• COMT / Certificate of Manual Therapy or equivalent continuing education

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for an experienced Physical Therapist to join our Aurora team! The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise and a proven ability to thrive in a leadership role, with responsibilities for patient care and supporting clinician development.
FPC offers patient-centered, one-on-one care, clinical mentorship and opportunities to grow, and an emphasis on providing great patient outcomes.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics.
Preference given to candidates with additional certifications or background in women’s health and vestibular.
Clinicians at our Aurora clinic will see patients with a wide variety of backgrounds and with a diverse case mix, making it an interesting environment in which to hone your clinical skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Delivering high quality patient care to help patients reduce pain & other symptoms and achieve their functional goals
• Interacting with patients positively, in a way that helps them understand their plan of care and gives them confidence in their ability to achieve their goals
• Completing medical documentation timely, thoroughly, and accurately
• Mentoring junior clinicians and collaborating with other clinic staff to provide optimal patient outcomes
