We are currently looking for a Lead Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Lead Planner plays a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of repair, maintenance, and refurbishment works across the social housing portfolio. The role is responsible for managing a team of planners/schedulers, ensuring efficient workforce scheduling, reducing downtime, and maximizing productivity while maintaining excellent customer service levels.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the planning/scheduling team to ensure optimal deployment of operatives and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain daily and long-term work schedules in coordination with repair operatives, void teams, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor job progress and performance KPIs such as job completion rates, first-time fixes, and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise closely with customer service, repairs, and asset management teams to ensure service delivery meets business objectives and resident needs.
  • Identify inefficiencies or process gaps and recommend improvements to scheduling tools, procedures, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and safeguarding policies in all planning activities.
