On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Lead Project Planner (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract. This is a hybrid working role (three days per week on site - Manchester or York plus additional travel to other locations).

Responsibilities
  • Build, develop and maintain detailed, logic-linked project programmes, from first principles where needed.
  • Develop tender programmes (during bidding) and ensure smooth transition/mobilisation of those into contract delivery programmes.
  • Include all relevant activities: engineering/design, construction, commissioning, safety, interfaces, etc. Ensure dependencies and interdependencies are properly captured.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Commercial / Finance functions, Estimators, Site teams, and Clients to ensure alignment.
  • Represent planning in client meetings: provide reports, dashboards, progress updates, highlight risks/opportunities.
  • Ensure programmes comply with contract requirements (milestones, deliverables, NEC or other contract forms) and relevant planning processes/policies.
