  • Demonstratable experience within a similar position/entry level qualification (HNC or Foundation Degree) desirable.Experience of developing schedules within a complex environment ideally from a Nuclear or Engineering sector.

    To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a Dual National from a non ITAR country.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • You will work as a Planning Specialist to define planning standards, scheduling governance, and assurance, implement the APly planning process and maintain Primavera P6 for the Submarines Business.
  • You will interface with the Programme Teams to provide guidance support and monitoring throughout the programme lifecycle, facilitating the teams in providing accurate and timely management information.
  • You will support Planning Specialist and Planner Forums, to improve planning and scheduling processes.
  • You will be involved in delivering Read/Write Primavera P6 training, coaching and mentoring planners from across the business.
  • You will co-ordinate all change control activities. This will involve providing and defining training, guidance, governance, and assurance as well as implementing changes to the contract schedules and artefacts.
