DESCRIPTION:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Technical Lead with extensive experience in migrating from Tableau & SSRS to Power BI.
• Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that leverage Power BI’s capabilities, ensuring a seamless transition from Tableau & SSRS.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience with Tableau, SSRS and its migration to Power BI.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 2 years of experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
• Experience in managing BI projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Presentation Skills: Effectively presenting project updates and outcomes to stakeholders and executives.

SECONDARY SKILLS (GOOD TO HAVE):

• Working experience in Databricks, Materialized objects
• Security and Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and industry-specific regulations.
• Integration and Deployment: Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Software Development: Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
