Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Consultant to join the Treasury Transformation Office team. The individual will serve as a PowerBI expert for balance sheet and capital management reporting in a multi-year business and technology initiative. They will have prior experience with PowerBI reporting in a Finance organization and partner with Balance sheet subject matter experts and technology peers to define and implement reporting initiatives.
Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team responsible for managing Wells Fargo’s balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company’s businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company’s operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.
The Treasury Transformation Office empowers the Treasury business functions by providing data and analytical solutions through optimized workflows that enable better data-driven decision-making.

In this role, you will:

• Lead cross-functional complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large-scale planning for the Business Intelligence functional area that enable clear and consistent delivery of insights
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, longer-term business and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of data aggregation and visualization methodology to drive user-centric diagnostic analytics and dashboards
• Make decisions in complex situations requiring solid understanding of data structures, domain-specific knowledge and the end user experience that impact the final data visualization product, which includes dashboards, reports, insights, or analyses
• Influence and lead a broader work team to deliver data and visual outputs and new initiatives to inform strategy and decision making by the company
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals related to assessing business needs and producing actionable insights and trends, leveraging data visualization and business intelligence
• Lead projects, teams and serve as a peer mentor
• Work to drive adoption of insights and metrics as a resource for the company to enable a data-driven decision-making approach
