Almost Home Preschool is seeking a Preschool Teacher to plan and organize a fun and educational program for a group of 12 preschool children. We are an academically oriented program with a structured environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with:

• Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold
• Lesson Planning
• Classroom management skills
• Meeting developmental and academic goals, including: letter recognition, phonics awareness, writing/scissor skills, counting skills, math and science concepts, etc.
• Teaching social skills and kind manners in the school setting.
• Communicating with parents in a professional and supportive manner
• Conducting assessments of children’s progress

This position is Monday-Friday, 730am-430pm. Starting wage of $17-$18 per hour depending on credentials and experience. Supplemental benefits available include: major medical, vision, dental, disability, life and retirement. Paid professional development, paid holidays and paid time off included during first year of employment.
Preferred candidate will hold an Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field and will have experience leading a group of preschoolers. Must be able to pass a complete background check.
