JOB DESCRIPTION

As a provider of Head Start programming, HeadStart maintains high quality standards to ensure all students are receiving the best opportunity for success. With 8 locations across the Greater Indianapolis area, FDS has many opportunities for educators and students alike.
All of our positions require employees to be passionate, caring, flexible, and motivated. These are face to face roles that require you to be in person, working with children, and communicating with parents regularly.

Grade levels:

  • Pre-Kindergarten (6 weeks-5 years old) Must be comfortable working with children in this age group

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift (7:30-5:30pm timeframe)
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Professional Childcare: 2 years (REQUIRED)- please do not submit an application if you have not worked in childcare in a professional setting

License/Certification:

  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
