We're looking for an experienced technical lead—ideally with strong project management skills—who can drive collaboration and guide cross-functional teams with clarity and confidence in decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical leadership and project management in a highly innovative and strategically important area at Infineon. In your new job you will: Lead the development of a new generation power GaN wafer technology Be responsible for the technology project Contribute to new device concepts and process integration schemes for GaN HEMTs manufactured in a 300mm line Drive design activities of technology test chip Coordinate DoEs, tracking of development lots in the production line Collaborate with technical marketing on requirements and specifications Collaborate with wafer fab organization to develop new unit processes Be part of an international team of passionate and experienced engineers Provide technical advice for management decisions You’re a collaborative, innovation-driven professional who values clear communication, structured problem-solving, and delivering impactful solutions. You are a great fit for this role if you have: A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics or comparable 10+ years of experience in technology development in the semiconductor industry Experience as a project leader and technical lead in previous technology development projects Strong knowledge of power semiconductor process technology and device physics Knowledge in wide bandgap semiconductor technologies is a plus Certification in project management is a plus Knowledge of low/medium voltage power technologies and DC/DC power stages Excellent communication and coordination skills in a multi-cultural, multi-site and cross functional teams Full English proficiency.
