PROFILE SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Principal Lead Process Engineer with over 10 years of experience in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Proven ability to lead process engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Chartered Engineer status preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in process engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead role within EPC/EPCM environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of cross-discipline interfaces (Mechanical, Piping, EC&I, Civil, Automation).
  • Expertise in process simulation, design, and safety engineering.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a clear vision for transitioning into engineering management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee process engineering activities across all project phases—from concept to commissioning.
  • Manage and mentor a team of process engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
  • Interface with clients, project managers, and other discipline leads to align engineering scope and execution strategy.
  • Approve and validate process design documents, simulations, and calculations using tools such as Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or similar.
  • Manage process safety through active participation in HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, and other risk assessments.
  • Implement and enforce change control procedures, ensuring budget and schedule impacts are clearly communicated and managed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the process discipline, promoting innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Support business development and proposal efforts by contributing technical expertise and estimating discipline scope.
