Responsibilities

We are looking for either a Lead Print Technician or Senior Print Technician, depending on experience, to run our Paper Print facilities. The Faculty Print Workshop supports an array of courses within The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries: Graphic Design, Illustration, Visual Communication, Architecture.
You will have a demonstrable background in the technical aspects of print making, enabling you to ensure equipment and processes are inducted to a wide range of students and staff.
Knowledge of maintaining equipment and machinery is particularly desirable. Also, to ensure the essential completion of Risk Assessments, administration and other essential Health and Safety tasks.
The post holder will be expected to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team; they will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to undertake this student facing role successfully.
We are able to offer the following flexible working pattern of either Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30-17:00. Or 4.5 hours daily between the hours of 9:30-14:00 – totalling 22.5 hours per week. Please note that this working on campus only.
