Description
Lead and coordinate the performance and reliability of contamination control systems, including cleanroom, UPW, chemical delivery, and process tool environments. Supervise, mentor, and train Process Quality Technicians, ensuring alignment with safety and contamination control protocols. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues in instrumentation and equipment, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely calibration and analytical testing using particle counters, ionization equipment, and other specialized tools. Maintain and audit records of maintenance, testing, calibrations, and repairs to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Identify and drive solutions to reduce equipment defects, enhance quality, and lead process improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Facilities, Gas/Chemical Technicians, Engineers, and Leadership to resolve issues and support production needs. Associate or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (or equivalent trade school/military experience). Minimum of 4 years of experience in contamination control, cleanroom operations, or related technical environments, including leadership or mentoring experience. Proven ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts and adapt to changing business needs. Demonstrated expertise in using PPE and safely handling gases and chemicals in controlled environments. Prior experience leading teams in laboratory or cleanroom settings. Advanced understanding of statistics and data-driven decision making. In-depth knowledge of cleanroom principles, airflow dynamics, filtration, AMC, ESD, ionization, and analytical testing methods.
