LEAD PRODUCT ANALYST - KYC CONTROLS

We are seeking a passionate Lead Product Analyst to join our KYC Controls team within the Fincrime squad. The team is responsible for building a robust KYC program that effectively mitigates financial crime while enabling sustainable growth through a risk based approach.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about our mission of “Money Without Borders” and eager to take ownership of a large analytics domain within a dynamic product area. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with one of our largest squads, responsible for keeping bad actors off our platform while ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. The Fincrime Squad consists of the following Teams: AML, Screening, Fraud fighting, and KYC controls.
In this role, you will have full ownership of your analytical space, contribute to strategic planning by collaborating with product managers, engineers, and fellow analysts, and drive data-based decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include measuring the impact of our initiatives, providing insights for planning, and ultimately enhancing the customer experience in line with our mission. You will delve into extensive datasets, generate impactful analyses, formulate recommendations, and ensure their implementation. We seek candidates who are passionate about uncovering insights through deep analysis and independently driving impactful outcomes.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • You have strong quantitative skills. Ideally a background in statistics, maths, physics, engineering, or other scientific area
  • You have strong experience with SQL and Python/R
  • You have strong communication skills and an ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
  • You have an ability to structure business problems with minimal supervision and an ability to prioritise problems independently, as well as condense complex systems/ideas into simple-to-understand models
  • Hustler-mentality. You can take work beyond the analysis and get things done
  • You have experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) and demonstrate storytelling ability with data
  • You have 4+ YOE analysing data in a professional setting
