Description

Chooose builds software to enable the lower carbon fuel value chains in hard-to-abate sectors.
Companies like Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, and Flexport use the Chooose platform to build, operate and scale their SAF programs, and to advance voluntary and compliance carbon initiatives.
With offices in Oslo and Miami, and remote employees across the US and Europe, we are a mission-oriented team that is scaling our business and climate impact in tandem. The company has raised $50M from leading venture capital and strategic investors.
In this role, you will help chart our course into the future as we evolve from a transactional product to a product suite that includes a heavy UX/UI SaaS offering. You will be critical to defining problems and building out climate tech solutions from 0 -> 1 for aviation, travel, and maritime companies. Working closely with a small team of designers and many stakeholders, we aspire for this new joiner to work through design problems from beginning to end covering UX research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Take point on ensuring we offer an intuitive, supportive experience for our partners to manage their decarbonization efforts
  • Translate insights from research into concepts that form new products and features, design the detailed workflows and interactions required to make them a reality
  • Engage in user research to better understand our users and refine our products
  • Work closely with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to define and execute the product strategy
  • Bounce between company objectives and the granular feature level minutiae that define a wonderful product
