As part of this role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities and accountabilities: Deep Client Focus: Define playbook and advocate for demand with product on client needs. Align on key deals that are priorities for critical verticals. Bring strategic initiatives that are relevant to the Sales Team. Execute on support related to client engagement/outreach for the key client cohorts. Drive Deals that Accelerate Branded Checkout Volume: Take ownership of ensuring successful sales and account expansion for branded checkout deals on a large scale. Your expertise and strategic approach will contribute to the growth and success of our organization. Relevant Expertise for Strategic Initiatives: Serve as a branded payments expert for new strategic initiatives, including areas such as UX optimization, presentment, conversion rate, and innovative ecommerce solutions. Your insights and guidance will shape the direction and success of these initiatives. Influence Product Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence the product roadmap of our broader Checkout team. Your expertise will be vital in aligning the domain teams with the evolving needs of merchants, encompassing consumer experience and product performance. Consult and Articulate Value: Work closely with commercialization teams to consult on and influence the sales positioning of products. Your ability to articulate clear value propositions for merchants will be instrumental in driving adoption and success. Partnership Development: Take an active role in developing partnerships to address the needs of in the market. By forging strategic alliances, you will contribute to fulfilling the requirements of our business. Navigate Complexity: Navigate complex large enterprise client requirements, experiences and nuances related to checkout. Through active engagement, industry insights, and thought leadership initiatives, you will strengthen our reputation in the market. Strengthen Organizational Systems: Contribute to the improvement and "hardening" of systems employed by the broader organization. This involves areas such as branded payment processing and performance, sales motions, and upselling. Your expertise will help optimize these systems and ensure their effectiveness. To excel in this role, the following skills, experience, and education are required: Payments Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the payments industry, particularly in branded checkout experiences. Your deep understanding of the industry landscape and trends will contribute to your success in this role. Business-to-Business Sales and Relationship Building: Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in business-to-business sales, relationship building, and business development. Your ability to build strong partnerships and drive successful sales outcomes will be essential. Partner Relationship Development: Proven track record in identifying, developing, and contracting partner relationships within an enterprise context. Your experience in forging strategic partnerships will be instrumental in meeting business objectives. Enterprise Merchant and Marketplace Expertise: Hands-on experience working with the processing and payout needs of enterprise merchants and marketplaces. Your understanding of their unique requirements and challenges will enable you to provide effective solutions. Effective Communication Skills: Adaptable and eloquent communicator with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels, including product teams, engineering teams, and clients. Your communication skills will be essential in driving collaboration and aligning objectives. B2B and Product Software Proficiency: Experience with B2B and product software tools, including but not limited to Powerpoint, Salesforce, Jira, and Sharepoint. Your proficiency in utilizing these tools will enhance your productivity and effectiveness in the role. Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, while an advanced degree is preferred. Your educational background will provide you with a strong foundation for understanding complex business dynamics and strategy. Preferred Buyer Experience: Previous experience as a buyer of payment services is preferred. Your firsthand understanding of the buyer's perspective will enable you to empathize with merchants and provide valuable insights.
