LEAD PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Previous experience in battery assembly or a related field
  • Familiarity with battery technology and various types of batteries
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with quality control procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent/ Technical training an asset
  • Basic understanding of assembly line processes
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Basic math skills for measuring and mixing components
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and workplace policies

  • Test completed batteries to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
  • Inspect raw materials and components for defects or quality issues
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Operate and maintain assembly line equipment
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing with colleagues as required
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues with assembly equipment
