ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Telecommunications Engineer & Team Lead to join our Technology Systems team in India, supporting projects across the APAC region. This role combines technical leadership with team leadership responsibilities, overseeing the delivery of advanced ICT and Telecommunications systems across diverse sectors including healthcare, aviation, transport, commercial, data centers, and mixed-use developments. As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of complex ICT systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders from concept through to handover. You will provide technical leadership in structured cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, ICT networks, smart buildings, and digital infrastructure aligned with Australian and international standards including BICSI, TIA, ISO/IEC, and AS/NZS. In addition, as Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Technology Systems team in India, ensuring efficient delivery of project outcomes while maintaining close alignment with the Australian leadership team. This includes managing team performance, workload planning, quality assurance, and fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
