About the Role As a Lead Program Counselor (DSP), you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting by supporting the hiring manager and acting as a role model for your fellow staff. You’ll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice. Your responsibilities may include: Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines Supporting medical needs and appointments Following individualized support and behavior plans Encouraging community involvement and social engagement Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff) Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team No two days are the same—and every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Valid Connecticut Driver’s License Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid 1-year of residential experience Pay $19.59 – $20.04 per hour Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified Schedule Tuesday – Thursday 10:00a – 6:00p, Friday 12:00p-8p, Sa 8:00a-4:00pm (40 FT) Why Work at Marrakech?
