Job Description The position is mainly responsible to represent Colliers on single/multiple projects in respective city/region. 1. Manage multi-cultural environment across various regions and countries and establishing good client relations. 2. Provide design direction and guidance to ensure design excellence. 3. To manage and coordinate the design process during design, pre-construction and construction phases. 4. To motivate and develop team members and their overall skills; to mentor as required. 5. To direct and support the design managers. 6. To define design responsibilities for consultants and specialist contractors. 7. To take the lead on appointment of consultants – to prepare RFPs, evaluate and recommend. 8. To ensure regular reviews are held with the consultants. 9. To provide advice to consultants on buildability that aligns with the project schedule and budget. 10. To identify elements of the design suitable for VE studies. 11. To provide expertise based on extensive hospitality experience. 12. Liaison with Client and Operator / tenant team on design requirements and quality expectations. 13. Attend key meetings between Client / Operator / Tenant and Project Manager. 14. Establish design document based on the Client / Operator / Tenant feedback and requirements. 15. Approvals – define procedure and dates. 16. Design development – establish progress. 17. Budgets – define format of design information for cost appraisal exercises. 18. Technical specs – to review and provide inputs. 19. Establish Project budget and Project Master Schedule based on market studies, details received from Consultants, analysis etc. 20. Pre-Con Stage – To track design progress within the established framework of Overall Project Master schedule. 21. Construction Stage – to ensure design detailing and work meets quality requirements. Qualifications 1. B Arch / BE Civil 2. Post-Graduation in Construction / Project Management. Additional Information The candidate should have excellent analytical, strategic, leadership, communications, and writing skills. S/he should be a good team player.
