Job summary

In this role, the incumbent is responsible for leading and/or supporting technical projects (focusing on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and cleanroom technology) for the Eschweiler plant. The projects are carried out in accordance with internal processes and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, in collaboration with internal and/or external partners.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Independent project management of projects in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cleanroom technology across all planning phases.
  • Scheduling and cost control, as well as reporting on budget and project status 
  • Support for the engineering team in the field of building services engineering 
  • Development and planning of sustainable concepts in the areas of heating, ventilation and sanitary facilities
  • Cost estimation, preparation of specifications and support in the preparation of tender documents
  • Coordination of internal departments and external partners
  • Construction supervision depending on the project scope

Training

  • Successfully completed engineering studies, preferably in the field of building services engineering with a focus on supply engineering, building, process, energy technology or comparable qualification

Professional experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Solid experience in the planning, execution or commissioning of ventilation systems, preferably in the "pharmaceutical" or "medical device" sector

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities

    • Several years of experience in project management, preferably in technical facility management
    • A good understanding of commercial calculations (e.g., of quotations)
    • Proficient use of common MS Office applications
    • Experience with SAP R3 or S4-HANA
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.
    • Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
    • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as effective collaboration in multifunctional and internationally oriented teams.
    • A strong customer focus and a generally positive attitude towards teamwork.

Pay transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is €59,224.00 to €75,376.00. The target total compensation will be determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant professional experience, qualifications, skills, market comparison data, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

 

This position may also include variable compensation and participation in other compensation programs, in accordance with the terms of the compensation plans applicable in the respective country of employment. Furthermore, employees are entitled to participate in the company's benefits and total compensation programs applicable to their location and employment status.
