Are you a seasoned operator with a passion for community infrastructure and leadership? The Town of Strathmore is seeking a Lead Public Works Operator to oversee and support essential operations that keep our town running smoothly and safely.
As the Lead Public Works Operator, you’ll be responsible for supervising daily operations, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality public services. You’ll lead a dedicated team in maintaining roads, water systems, stormwater infrastructure, and municipal facilities.

Reporting to the Public Works Supervisor, the Lead Public Works Operator helps organize daily tasks and ensures team members understand and complete their responsibilities related to municipal infrastructure in the Town of Strathmore. This role includes supporting supervision, planning, and coordination of the workforce. The Lead Hand monitors team performance, offers respectful feedback and coaching, and leads by example in following all Town policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure safe and efficient operations.
