QUALIFICATIONS OF THE LEAD PUMP MECHANIC INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• 5 + years of experience working in a pump repair shop facility with previous experience repairing ANSI and other centrifugal pumps and other related rotating equipment prepared
• In-depth understanding of ANSI, and other applicable standards
• Ability to read pump sectional, machine drawings, and OEM pump manuals
• Disassembly, inspection, ability to write up a detailed rotating equipment report to all necessary repairs and or replacement parts needed, Ex: assembly prep, assembly, pneumatic pressure testing of assembled equipment, painting of finished repair and final inspection
• Safely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools
• Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of parts and equipment
• Ability to read and understand mechanical seal drawings, mechanical seal removal, installation, and pneumatic pressure testing preferred
• Ability to work with multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
• Background check, physical, and drug test required

• Manage other mechanics and shop members to ensure Work Orders are being processed and worked on
• Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, paint, package/prepare for shipment centrifugal pumps as well as other related rotating equipment
• Assist with training and developing Pump Mechanic personnel to ensure efficient use of manpower and compliance with customer requirements
• Monitor progress of repairs and assign and guide shop personnel to complete those repairs
• Package and safely crate pumps built and get ready for shipping
