We’re offering a $6,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires. In this role, you’ll work four 10-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and evening/weekend call while leading a collaborative, high-performing vascular lab. Why Join UPMC Presbyterian? $6,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates Leadership opportunity in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment Four 10-hour shifts per week Work with a supportive, tight-knit vascular team Oversee daily operations while still staying hands-on with patient care What You’ll Do Lead and mentor a team of vascular technologists, fostering collaboration and growth Perform advanced noninvasive vascular studies, including arterial/venous duplex imaging, extracranial duplex, abdominal duplex, and more Oversee the vascular lab’s daily workflow to ensure timely, high-quality studies Support accreditation requirements, financial oversight, and quality improvement initiatives Partner with leadership on staff development, performance management, and departmental goals Represent UPMC Presbyterian within the hospital and external PV organizations Completion of formal training in an accredited Vascular Technology or Ultrasound program required or RVT or equivalent credential required. Competency in all areas of non-invasive vascular testing required. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a PV technologist is required. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of vascular anatomy in order to provide physicians with preliminary test interpretations, to recommend vascular testing, and to scan appropriate vessels. Knowledge of Doppler and ultrasound physics when performing vascular exams. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Registry required. Act 33, 34, 73 or as required by business unit. Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) OR Registered Vascular Specialist OR Registered Vascular Technologist. Act 34.
