SUMMARY:

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our cutting-edge technology greenfield programs here at WTW where you be a pivotal member in one of our teams developing the next generation of solutions for the insurance industry. You will work alongside other engineers as part of a close-knit agile development team to ensure our products meet high quality standards. Hybrid working from home and in-office is available.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive years’ experience working in software quality assurance roles or comparable
  • Experience in taking ownership of a particular area of software quality assurance for either a product or a team function
  • Strong UI & ideally API test automation experience with at least one of the following development languages:
  • TypeScript and/or JavaScript
  • C#
  • Experience working in a “shift-left” culture and CI/CD, ownership / evangelism would be an advantage
  • Performance testing experience would be an ideal, experience with Azure Load Test and JMeter would be a strong advantage
  • Experience of data analysis using system monitoring / aggregation tools would be advantageous
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

The team share the following responsibilities and roles, you will be expected to contribute to those areas where you have prior experience and learn in areas that you don’t:

  • Ownership of test strategies for features or whole applications
  • Collaborate with the product stakeholders * developers to define User Stories
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues & achieve high levels of test automation
  • Develop & execute functional & non-functional tests from unit to whole system and UX – manual & automated
  • Investigate new tools and techniques, share best practice with other teams
