JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The role will support the advancement of digital technology enabling improvement in client service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience within Quality Assurance; ∙ Extensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software;
  • Proficient with DevOps is mandatory;
  • Accessibility testing experience is an asset;
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) tools are an asset; and
  • Experience working with CRM is mandatory.

    Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Providing leadership and scheduling in QA to the QA team and ensure communication with the Project Managers and the Product/Program Manager;
  • Acting as the key liaison and triage between the client and the technology team, ensuring they are corrected at the appropriate time based on priority and urgency;
  • Providing support and training to clients for UAT testing;
  • Providing reporting on velocity of QA, triage variances;
  • Working jointly with clients and the Supervisor of Digital Content to ensure quality software is delivered meeting the requirements;
  • Working jointly with leadership draft quality assurance policies and procedures and implement quality assurance standards and procedures;
  • Reviewing design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product;
  • Identifying appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate. Parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards including accessibility;
  • Employing methods to reduce variances;
  • Creating and reporting on quality assurance performance measures;
  • Working with MS Azure DevOps to track variances;
  • Triaging variances, and ensure they are corrected at the appropriate time based on priority and urgency;
  • Working with the Project teams to identify and automate tests;
  • Conducting testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines;
  • Identifying, logging, and recreating error codes, bugs, and defects;
  • When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to developers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
